If you’re trying to add more fish into your weekly meals, this air fryer salmon recipe is one of the easiest (and tastiest) ways to do it. It’s a family favorite in our house—even my teen boys love it!
The best part? This recipe uses frozen salmon fillets—no thawing required. You’ll start the salmon at a lower temperature so it gently defrosts, season once it’s softened (so the spices stick perfectly), then finish at a higher heat for lightly crispy edges and tender, flaky salmon. Topped with a fresh avocado salsa, it’s light, healthy, and ready in under 20 minutes.

- Thicker Fillets: Add 2–3 minutes to cooking time if your salmon is very thick.
- Flavor Twist: Swap paprika for chili powder for a spicier flavor, add jalapeño and tomatoes for a more traditional guacamole style, or add corn and black beans to the avocado salsa for a more southwestern taste.
- Pairings: Serve with rice, quinoa, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
