I have a habit of overthinking and overpacking when preparing to travel. Yes, that was (ok maybe still is) me trying to stuff miscellaneous items into every crevice of my suitcase–and sometimes my husband’s and boys’ suitcases too–because mine was bursting at the seams.
But these days, I’ve gotten a lot more organized. My packing checklist has been a lifesaver, and I’m sharing it here to help you avoid the same overpacking chaos I used to deal with!
The Essentials
Passport? Check. Snacks? Check. And don’t forget anything that helps you feel calm and collected on the go. For me, that means my Air-Pods (the noise cancellation feature is amazing on flights), downloading several of my favorite podcasts, 90’s R&B music playlist, and some gummy bears or peanut butter M&M’s.
